Day 01 : Chennai
Chennai the gracious capital city of Tamil Nadu and it is the fourth
largest metropolis in India. On arrival Chennai airport meet and greet by
our representative and transfer to hotel and later in the afternoon proceed
for a half day city tour of Chennai Visit St George Fort, Marina Beach
Parthasarati temple, Birla Planetarium, Valluvar Kottam, National Art and
government Meseum, Guindy National Park, Snake Park, Anna Zoological Park
and Theosophical society etc evening g return back to hotel and over night
stay at hotel
Day 02 : Chennai - Mahabalipuram
After morning breakfast check out hotel and proceed to Mahabalipuram
It is World famous for its shore temples .Mahabalipuram is 58 km away from
Chennai on arrival Mahabalipuram check in beach resort and rest of the day
is free at Mahabilipuram to relax on the beach shores and over night stay at
Mahabaipuram
Day 03 : Mahabalipuram
After morning breakfast proceed for a local tour of Mahabalipuram Visit
Shore Temple is on the sands by the sea, built in Pahlava king Raja Singh's
time (7th century) in the shape of a Pyramid constructed in the Dravidian
style. then visit Arjuna's Penance the most famous of the Mahabalipuram art,
this is carved in relief on the face of a huge rock. It depicts the
mythological story of the river Ganges, issuing from its source high in the
Himalayas. The rock has exhaustive carvings, presenting the most appealing
and natural interpretation of animals. It also shows deities, and other semi
gods and legends from the Panchtantra or Five Wise Lessons written by Vishnu
Sharma in the 2nd century BC.Evening return back to beach resort and over
night stay at Mahabalipuram beach resort
Day 04 : Mahabalipuram - Kanchipuram - Pondicherry
After morning breakfast check out hotel and proceed to Pondicherry on the
way visit Kanchipuram It is generally known as the city of thousand temples
is one of the seven holy cities of the Hindus. Only 126 temples remain in
Kanchipuram now but the town still attracts visitors from all around the
country. Pilgrims, customers of silk, and the simply curious come to see the
numerous carved temples and participate in the bustle of this busy town
Visit Ekambareswar Temple
Vaikuntha Perumal Temple, Varadaraja Temple, Kailasnatha Temple, Kamakshi
Amman Temple etc and then proceed to Pondicherry on arrival pondicherry
check in hotel and over night stay at hotel .
Day 05 : Pondicherry
After morning breakfast proceed for a half day city tour of Pondicherry
It is161 kilometers south of Madras, is an amalgamation of all the former
French settlements, which were handed over to the Indian Government in
November, 1954 Visit Sri Aurobindo Ashram: founded in 1926 and based on the
teachings of philosopher poet Aurobindo Ghose and then visit Promenade
Auroville, Pondicherry, Mesuem etc and evening return back to hotel and over
night stay at pondicherry

06 : Pondicherry - Thanjavur
After Morning breakfast check out hotel and proceed to visit Thanjavur
Thanjavur, or Tanjore as the British called it visit Thanjavur palace, Sri
brihadeeswara temple, Art Gallery, Hall of museum, Schwartz church etc and
evening return back to hotel and over night stay at hotel
Day 07 : Thajavor - Madurai
After morning breakfast check out hotel and proceed to Madurai
It is one of the important pilgrimage center for Hindus on arrival Madurai
check in hotel and later proceed for a local tour of Madurai Visit Sri
Meenakshi sundareshwara temple, the temple art museum, puthu Mandapam, Raya
gopuram etc and evening return back to hotel and over night stay at Madurai
Day 08 : Madurai
After morning breakfast check out hotel and proceed to Madurai Airport to
board your flight to onward destination
